ADOPT A PASSIONFLOWER
The Galapagos flora comprises of some 500 native species of which about 180 are endemic, that is, found naturally only in Galapagos and nowhere else in the world. Introduced species are threatening the future of these endemic plants. There are 20 critically endangered plant species that will disappear if there is no funding for necessary research and conservation work.
In return for a minimum donation of £25 the GCT will send you or your loved one a special sponsorship pack, which includes an attractive passionflower postcard with information about the species and about Galapagos on the back, an information booklet on endangered plants, and a fridge magnet.
Adopting a Galapagos flower is easy - either visit Adopt a Passionflower, or contact the Galapagos Conservation Trust, 5 Derby Street, London W1J 7AB, telephone 0207 629 5049 or email gct@gct.org.
