SCIENCE IN GALAPAGOS

Research in the Botany Department

Research programmes play a vital role in conserving the unique flora and fauna of the Galapagos Islands. This section, as it develops, will provide an insight into some of the work that is being carried out in the islands.

A list of Galapagos-related articles and publications is available on the Charles Darwin Research Station website. The Galapagos Genetics, Epidemiology and Pathology Laboratory website gives details of current research projects on introduced and emerging infectious disease threats to Galapagos.
