What do you get as a tortoise club member?

Tortoise bulletA certificate bearing the name of your school and class. This certificate will indicate that you have sponsored a baby tortoise at the Charles Darwin Research Station in the Galapagos

Tortoise bulletAn illustrated booklet about the Galapagos giant tortoise, containing information about the Dome and Saddleback tortoises, their evolution, behaviour and conservation

Tortoise bulletA set of illustrated factsheets which contain a great deal of information about the Galapagos Islands and their wildlife

Tortoise bulletA set of enjoyable exercises based on the Galapagos which have been designed especially to assist your teachers with their class activities

Tortoise bulletIn addition to your school pack, you will have access to a special page on our website where additional information on the tortoises can be found

Tortoise bulletEvery six months, your class will receive two (2) copies of a special Junior Newsletter - full of news about Galapagos animals, plus quizzes, puzzles and other activities

Tortoise bulletAlso included in the pack will be a sheet of stickers with pictures of the unique Galapagos animals, a colour map of the Galapagos, a tortoise poster and a quiz

Tortoise bulletYou will be eligible to enter our annual schools competition, and have the chance to win exciting prizes

Tortoise bulletMembers of the Tortoise Club have the opportunity for one of our speakers to visit your school (at a time agreed between your school and us) to give a talk about the Galapagos giant tortoise
